I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being.

Surrendering Your Pet
There is an option of surrendering pets or stray animals to our Animal Shelter, but please be aware that this must be your last resort – please try to rehome them with your friends, family or colleagues first. You can also try posting at www.petfinder.my or www.puppy.com.my , where members of the public go to look for pets – but please ensure you screen potential adopters thoroughly.
We receive almost 600-700 animals a month here in our Shelter, and we do not have the space or resources to keep all of them. We will try our very best to get these animals re-homed but please understand that due to the amount of animals we receive, we are not able to accommodate all for long periods of time. Please be aware that if your surrendered animal is injured, falls ill, has behavioral problems or does not find a home after a certain period of time, there is a high chance of it being put to sleep based on the discretion of the vets.
Procedure
If your are surrendering your pet, you will be required to fill in the necessary details on a surrender form and pay a minimal donation fee. By signing the form, you transfer ownership of the animal(s) to SPCA Selangor, and may not reclaim the animal later. Please think the decision to surrender your pet through thoroughly before surrendering it here.
(Once surrendered, we do not recommend you coming to visit it, as often it may trigger depression or homesick-ness in the dog or cat and cause health problems for it (ie: refusal to eat, stress).)
Do call SPCA at (03) 4256-5312 or (03) 4253-5179 during office hours to have arrangements made for transport if required.
