In early April, we had a very positive meeting with the DG of the Department of Veterinary Services Malaysia. Our Chief Operations Officer Lorna Fisher, vet Dr Goh, vet assistant Priscilla and Animal Welfare Officer Cunera met with DG YH Dato’ Dr Mohamad Azmie B Zakaria and Dr Marzuna to discuss the possibility of extending our Klinik Kembiri Outreach (KKO) activities to other locations. Dr Azmie thankfully said we can request to work with the various DVS clinics as well as municipal councils or private vets who are willing to let us use their premises.
He is also very excited about the new Animal Welfare bill that was tabled in Parliament recently, and commends us on our vision “towards Stray-Free Malaysia”! Thank you Dr Azmie!
